Knee

Cats love to play and chase the balls around but this is possible only if they have healthy joints that will make sure that these fun activities could continue throughout their life. Stifle (Knee) injuries such as cranial cruciate ligament tears are common in cats that are overweight. Obese cats can easily injure their stifle joints during play activities.  Cats suffering from stifle injury either partially bear weight on it or hold up the affected leg. To prevent joint inflammation in cats, maintaining a healthy weight is mandatory. To treat the inflammation of joints, anti-inflammatory medications, nutritional supplements, physical therapy, and surgery may be recommended.
