History
The Brittany is the breed of bird dog bred basically for bird hunting. Brittanys were created in Brittany, a province of northwest France, between the seventeenth and nineteenth century, got recognized at the start of the twentieth. There are French Brittanys and also American Brittanys.
Physical Appearance
Brittanys are not highly coated dogs. They’ve thick or curly hair that are never wavy, silky, and wiry. You will see a slight feathering around the legs and ears; however, not a lot that the Brittany might have problems making its way with dense brushes.
