History
The Australian Cattle Dog was created when a cattle farmer called Thomas Hall from New South Wales cross-bred dogs used as drovers in the cradle of Christianity, probably smooth-coated collies and tamed dingoes. The dogs that came from the cross-breeding were known as Halls Heelers.

The Australian Cattle Dog is a herding dog breed initially made in Australia for droving cattle over long distances throughout rough terrain. This dog breed is a medium-sized, short-coated dog that occurs in 2 primary color forms.

Care and Grooming
The Australian Cattle Dog does not need a lot of priming; however, some grooming is required to keep it healthy and clean. Brush regularly, four times every month, to absorb oils and take off dust when it sheds.
