Weimaraner
The Weimaraner is a skilled, obedient, friendly, attentive, high-energy dog. It can learn quickly and gets bored easily. However, these dogs love their family and people they know; they might be aloof and dubious with unknown people.
History
The Weimaraner goes back to the early nineteenth century, created in Weimar, Germany. The noblemen who bred them liked to hunt and needed a dog with bravery, strength, speed, with excellent scenting potential.
Physical Appearance
Weimaraners are large-sized dogs. Their physiques are muscular and made for work; they can run with excellent strength. The head is strong and hound-like with dropped ears.

Care and Grooming
Weimaraners are a short smooth-coated breed that shed all year long, even in the wintertime. Grooming is required in four to eight-week intervals to clean out ears, cut nails, examine anal glands, and ensure healthier skin and coat.
